Peter is a senior associate at East End Trial Group, where he litigates individual and class claims on behalf of consumers and other plaintiffs. With experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in civil litigation, Peter knows that that reasonable, thorough, and respectful advocates obtain the best results for their clients.
Before joining East End Trial Group, Peter was an associate at international law firms Jones Day and O’Melveny & Myers, where he litigated complex cases on behalf of clients across an array of industries. Peter’s litigation experience spans state, federal, and arbitral forums, and a wide range of substantive areas, including commercial, privacy, and consumer law. Peter’s past experience includes terms as a law clerk for Karen Nelson Moore (Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals) and Christy Criswell Wiegand (Western District of Pennsylvania). Dedicated to pro bono service, Peter has also counseled clients in cases involving prisoner rights, immigration, and housing insecurity.
Peter graduated summa cum laude from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where he served in the role of Editor-in-Chief as an Executive Board Member for the UC Irvine Law Review. In law school, Peter was a member of the Environmental Law Clinic, where he was part of a team that obtained summary judgment in federal court on behalf of a non-profit client challenging administrative action taken by the Bureau of Land Management. He also co-chaired the school’s Public Interest Law Fund and volunteered for the International Refugee Assistance Project.
Peter is published in academic journals. With Professor Shauhin Talesh, Peter co-authored The devil is in the details: How arbitration system design and training facilitate and inhibit repeat-player advantages in private and state-run arbitration hearings, which is published in Law & Policy (2020). Peter also authored A Record of What? The Proper Scope of an Administrative Record for Informal Agency Action, which is published in the UC Irvine Law Review (2020).
In his free time, Peter enjoys spending time with his wife (Tory) and dog (Tom), cooking, reading, hiking, and traveling.
