East End Trial Group is proud to congratulate our co-founder, Kevin Tucker, for being named to the 2022 Lawdragon 500 Leading Plaintiff Consumer Lawyers list. Kevin was honored for the work he has done for those who have been taken advantage of by companies and their own government in class action and mass torts cases.
Every year since 2007, Lawdragon has released a list of plaintiff lawyers who lead class action and individual lawsuits on behalf of clients who have been taken advantage of. The group honors those lawyers who seek justice for individuals who have been hurt by big corporations and the government.
To earn a spot on Lawdragon’s list, a candidate must first be nominated by one of their peers. That nomination must include a brief description of why that individual deserves to be nominated, and how they are a leader in their specific field. Anyone can be nominated through a simple email.
Lawdragon then reviews all its potential candidates and their experience. The group first talks with the candidate’s peers, then reviews the candidate’s accomplishments and record on class action lawsuits, including any victories and/or settlements. From there, candidates are selected to the final list.
Kevin has an extensive history working in class action and mass torts cases. Throughout his career he has worked with those seeking medical treatment, for those in jail, or helping steelworkers obtain unemployment and Worker’s Compensation benefits. He also defends those who have been discriminated against due to their disabilities.
He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh and is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania State Court, the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the Western District of Pennsylvania, the Northern District of New York, the Western District of New York, the Northern District of Illinois, the Eastern District of Michigan, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Kevin treats his clients with dignity and compassion regardless of what led them to his office. His work has earned him a positive reputation with colleagues and adversaries, and as a strong advocate for his clients. Through his hard work he has managed to secure life-changing compensation for his clients who originally had felt their case had no hope. He has also compelled companies to change their policies for how they conduct business to those who were feeling oppressed.
Kevin is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and the American Association of Justice. He is the secretary at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Alumni Board of Governors.
