East End Trial Group is proud to announce that Kevin Tucker, co-founder of our firm, has been selected to the 2022 Pennsylvania Rising Stars List for his work in class action and mass torts cases. It is his second time joining the list.
The Rising Stars list is associated with Super Lawyers, which highlights lawyers throughout the country in more than 70 different practice areas. To be selected for the Rising Stars list, a candidate is nominated by their peers. To qualify for the Rising Stars list, candidates can be no older than 40, and must have been practicing law for less than 10 years.
Once nominated, a candidate undergoes a rigorous evaluation process where examiners study not only their courtroom record, but their work outside of it as well. Included in that are any papers that they have published as well as any pro bono work they have engaged in. The organization also investigates the candidate’s standing at the firm before selecting them to the appropriate list.
Kevin has been selected to the Rising Stars list for the past two years. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh. He has made a career of defending clients who have been taken advantage of by employers, businesses, banks and other lenders. He also defends those who have been discriminated against due to their disabilities.
Kevin is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and various federal courts across the United States. Kevin is a past-chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association’s Civil Rights Committee and currently serves as the Vice-President of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law Alumni Board of Governors.
